MAP are an umberella body for the crb.
MAP collect and verify details to be checked by the Criminal Records Bureau for any applicants who are deemed by law to be working with children or young people. All checks are made following a formal procedure as defined by law.
We collect and verify the identity of the applicant, which means we ask the applicant to bring in some details of identification. We then check the forms are correctly filled out, and send the information to the local CRB office, where is it checked fully to best possible standards as deemed by law.
As an applicant for a CRB check you will need to bring some official paperwork into our office for the verification officer to check the details of. Details of identification can include a valid passport, European driving license, and a valid photographic Identity Card.
Upon completion, receipt and verification of your application, the C.R.B will contact you. If you have any questions or would like any general information regards the processing, please contact MAP. We will be pleased to answer any enquiries you may have.
