OUTREACH AND INCLUSION WORK

GENERAL OVERVIEWpeople reaching up

The outreach project covers all aspects of working with Disabled young people and their families. We visit organisations or individuals within the Liverpool area to assist them in finding, researching and accessing inclusive play provision in their local area.

DETAILS

Our main aim is to support organisations or individuals who can access our service as a referral or self referral. The outreach team work within local communities, based at host sites in local youth and play clubs developing services offered and enabling disabled children to access local facilities. All staff support MAP's training programmes through publicising and assisting young people to attend sessions.
