STAFF TEAM
Chele O’Neill (Strategic Director 35 hrs)
Responsible for
strategic development of the organisation and for fundraising to sustain and
develop
MAP
projects. Chele developed
MAP
since it established itself from 1997. Chele is a qualified Tutor, Youth & Play
worker and has a Diploma in
Strategic & Operational Management. She has been working in this field since
leaving school in 1981.
Guy Christiansen (Team Manager 35 hrs)
Responsible for the
operational management of
MAP
and supervision
of all staff members. Guy has
been
involved
in theatre,
drama and acting since 1997 and has
travelled extensively working creatively with young
people. Guy's main work is
within arts based projects and he brought these skills to
MAP
in 2006 where he has been
highly effective in the delivery of Operational Management .
Jan Roche (Finance Officer 25 hrs)
Responsible
for the management of financial systems, including: payroll, payment and
monitoring of invoices and all relevant
banking and taxation
duties.
Jan has worked in Finance and
Administration for 28 years and been committed to the
voluntary sector for the last 15
years before joining
MAP
in 2005. Jan has worked at many organisations including Liverpool University and
Home Start projects and is fully proficient in all aspects of IT.
Sarah Lewis (Training Officer 35 hrs)
Responsible for
development and delivery of
MAP’s
dynamic training courses, including ‘Developing Accessible Play; and
‘Safeguarding Disabled
and Non-disabled Children and young people’.
Sarah has a degree in Social
Sciences with Disability & Community Studies. Sarah has travelled to many places
on Youth Activity & Engagement schemes including 3 months in Africa and as an Au
Pair in California.
Jane Hague (Inclusion Co-ordinator 35 hrs)
Responsible
for the co-ordination of our Outreach Programme providing disabled children to
access play and leisure provision at
centres across the city.
Jane is a fully qualified British Horse Society Instructor and athlete.
Jane’s
background is also in education, play work and disability equality, with some of
her skills honed whilst working on cruise ships. Jane is also qualified in
British Sign Language Level III and is soon to become
MAP’s
first in-house communications support worker.
Jessica Aitchison (Inclusion Development Worker 28 hrs)
Responsible
for capacity building and development of groups' and client specific inclusion
plans, with play, leisure, arts with a variety of centres and businesses across
the city. Jessica also co-ordinates the
MAP
Parent and Guardian Forum.
Jess qualified as a Social Worker in 2003, Jess’s background is in Playwork,
Homelessness and Social Work with Families. Jess began working with
MAP
as a volunteer in 1999 and has been a core team member since 2003.
Peter O’Neill (In house Tutor 16 hrs)
Responsible for the
delivery of
MAP
‘Developing Accessible Play’ training courses.
Peter is also an IT specialist and
has his own website design company. Peter has worked at
MAP
since 2000 and his background
in disability equality, training, play & youth work, plus working with homeless
young people has contributed to his ability to deliver
MAP
training to a very high standard.
