UPDATES AND NEWS

On this page we provide you with updates on our latest developments, recent news from the team and current information that may be useful.

We have recently developed posts for and been supporting young people as employees in our office.

NEW INITIATIVES

Alongside our Apprenticeships Scheme we have also developed A Parental Forum which is currently attracting 15 parents to a variety of activities based across the city with representatives providing workshops form various organisations that are contributing to this venture including: Merseytravel,  Connexions, Job Centre Disability Advisor, Parent Partnership (June Hill), Local Solutions, Fusion, plus Ashfield, Palmerston, Bankview, Princes and  Sandfield Park  Schools.

In addition to the above, MAP has been working in joint partnership with NWDAF (North West Disability Arts) to develop an Inclusive Young People’s Theatre. This project has been very successful in its initial stages with over 20 young people attending regularly, this project will soon be rolled out across Merseyside and its environs, We have continued to provide services for Cool Bananas, an Inclusive Music & Arts Project who have activities based across Liverpool.

We have recently achieved status for our quality of services to the young people we work with and our staff team, this recognises the quality that MAP offer and regularly achieve.

we have also moved buildings recently (december 07) we are now next door to the M.P.A.C building on Bridport Street.
